Players, Team and Coaches will play all home and away games. In the event that a team is not able to field a full roster for a game, they must reschedule within the season window of a reschedule are exhausted. Skyline does not support or accept forfeits and forfeit fees will be paid by the team. See Refund Policy under Club Info/Policies.
Practice Fields & Games
The majority of Competitive Practices are at Kennedy Soccer Complex. Teams train three times per week for ~75 minutes at a location and time determined by Skyline and your Coach.
The majority of games are played on Saturdays, and a few Sunday games. Teams typically have 4 home and 4 away games. Most games will be in the Denver metro area. However, there is a potential for games to be as far away as Vail, Grand Junction, Pueblo as an example. Team’s commitment requires you to travel to ALL away games.
College Recruitment
Skyline is committed to developing our soccer players to potentially play at the next level if they are motivated to do so. Skyline offers College Recruitment Guidance to help players and families navigate through the soccer college recruiting process. Each season, Skyline holds a College Recruitment Guidance meeting to provide information about how to get started in the process and help those interested in getting recruited. The College Recruitment Guidance is provided by our Director of Coaching, Stephen Latta at stephen@skylinesoccer.org
Showcase/Recruitment profiles
A large part of the college recruitment process is done through recruitment platforms online. Skyline's PlayMetrics system offers a college recruitment platform at NO ADDITIONAL COST to our Skyline players. Players can create their individual player profile. These profiles can show GPA, positions played, soccer accomplishments and videos of players playing. These profile can be shared with college coaches electronically or printed out to give to recruiters at showcase tournament events, where a good amount of college recruitment takes place. Player profiles are free for Skyline players. Just another layer of quality and service Skyline provides to their players interested in getting recruited to play college soccer.
