8U-12U Developmental Rec Program (formally Academy)
The Developmental Rec (DR) Program for 8U-12U players is designed to continue the long tradition of Skyline’s fun training environment, while focusing on development in a social atmosphere. Those in the DR program have aspirations to play Competitive soccer next. The DR program is for one season, fall and/or spring. Developmental Rec teams practice 1-2 times a week with a volunteer coach.
A Skyline skills coach, under the direction of the DR Program Director will facilitate 5 training sessions each season to work with your team to further development their technical skills and team dynamics.
Both Recreational and Developmental Rec teams play in the South metro Interleague or play in the CSA Front Range League. Teams play 8 games per season. Four home games and four away games. Teams must travel to all games or pay a $2000 fine to CSA.
All players wear Skyline recreational uniforms on game day. These can be ordered online.
