From Quinn's DOC, Dawn:

I have known Quinn for a couple years, as she has attended so many camps and indoor sessions. Last year was her first competitive tryout. She happily made our 14G Black Team, but was soon promoted to White. I believe the reason for this is both because she is naturally talented, but also because she is dedicated and always shows up with an amazing attitude. Players like Quinn make Coaching an extreme pleasure! This is why Quinn is my nomination for Player of the Month - March!

Quinn 'Q' exemplifies what it means to be a dedicated and selfless teammate. Her near-perfect attendance at games and practices reflects her commitment, and she consistently seeks opportunities to learn and grow. Quinn not only applies what she learns but also demonstrates creativity and ingenuity on the field—qualities that can't always be coached. Most importantly, she brings a consistently positive attitude, uplifting her teammates and showing respect for both her coach and the game. Quinn’s passion, work ethic, and team-first mindset make her an invaluable asset to her team.

Here are her answers to some questions:

What does soccer mean to her? 

Soccer is Quinn's passion. She is a well-rounded kid, but this is her favorite activity. Whether it's playing or just watching NWSL, WSL, or USWNT games, soccer is a huge part of her life. She is excited that we will be season ticket holders for Denver's new NWSL team.

What is her favorite position?  We asked her to name her favorite position. She says she loves playing everything, except goalie. However, she has really worked on her dribbling and passing in order to get more playing time in the midfield.

How did she prepare for the upcoming spring season? 

Quinn prepared for this upcoming season by playing Skyline Futsal. She also played 16 weeks of indoor soccer games. Quinn also worked on her touch in the backyard, with a rebounder and a small goal. She also maintained her conditioning by playing in a basketball league this winter.

What other hobbies does she have?

Quinn loves to read. Her favorites are graphic novels, the Harry Potter series, and really anything she can get her hands on. She also likes drawing, travelling, being at the beach, playing with her dog, and journalling.

Any other unique thoughts or abilities from her?

Quinn is fluent in Mandarin and is working on learning German.
