Grasshoppers & Munchkins
The Grasshopper (2.5 – 3 years old) and Munchkin (4 – 5 years old) programs are specifically designed for the beginner player. Emphasis is placed on introducing players to the very basics of soccer in a high-energy, fun environment through interactive and imaginary games. Each program is six weeks long and the program you sign up for is where you will meet once a week – at the same time, on the same day, and at the same park. The cost of each six week session is $75, and includes a team t-shirt. The only additional equipment your player will need is shinguards; soccer cleats are optional but not required, and balls are provided for use at the field. Our Grasshopper and Munchkin programs are offered in the spring, summer, and fall. Winter programming coming soon.
6U-7U Recreational Program
Our Recreational program for 6U-7U age groups is designed to provide fun and development without the emphasis on travel or high-level competition. All teams are coached by volunteer parents and play in-house against other Skyline teams. At this age, teams typically practice one time a week at a convenient field location near you for 60 minutes. Practice days and times will vary from team to team based on the choice of the volunteer coach. All games for this age group are played at the same location (depending on available DPR Parks) on Saturdays and one Sunday. All players wear Skyline recreational uniforms on game day that can be ordered online.
Skyline also offers SKILLS programs, which is are additional training options for all players within this age group.
8U Recreational Program
The Recreational program for the 8U age group is designed to provide fun and development without the emphasis on travel or high-level competition. All teams are coached by volunteer parents and play in-house against other Skyline teams. At this age, teams typically practice 1 time a week at a convenient field location (picked by the coach) for 60 minutes. Practice days and times will vary from team to team based on the choice of the volunteer coach. All games for this age group are played at Southmoor Park on Saturdays and one Sunday. All players wear Skyline recreational uniforms on game day that can be ordered online.
Skyline also offers camps and SKILLS programs, which are additional training options for all players within this age group. The Skills sessions are 4 sessions per season. This is an add – on option at the time of registration for a limited number of players.

9U-10U Elite Program
The Elite program for 9U-10U players is a pre-competitive program, designed to better prepare players for entrance into the Competitive program. Our intent is to provide a competitive, but not exclusive environment, for these developing players. Every player has the opportunity to play Elite on the most developmentally appropriate team as defined through player assessments. The commitment for the Elite program is for the entire fall to spring year. Practice and training will be two times a week with a paid coach and an optional age group training one time a week. These Elite teams participate in Colorado Soccer Association Intermediate Leagues. Elite teams play 8 games in an 7v7 format with a keeper. Games are played in a home & away setting against opposing non-Skyline and Skyline opponents (depending on teams in the division). All players wear Skyline uniforms on game day that can be ordered online. Some travel outside of the Denver and surrounding metro areas may be required for games.
9U-10U Academy Program
The Academy Program for 9U-10U players is designed to continue the long tradition of Skyline’s fun training environment, while focusing on development in a social atmosphere. The Academy program is for one season, fall and/or spring. Recreational teams practice 1-2 times a week with a volunteer coach.
The Academy Program Director will come out once a week to help facilitate a training session and help to get your team more involved with reaching their development potential.
Both Rec and Academy teams play in the Interleague with CO United and HRSA or can play in the CSA Front Range League. Rec and Academy teams play 8 games in an 7v7 format with a keeper. All games are played in a home & away setting against opposing non-Skyline and Skyline opponents (depending on teams in the division).
All players wear Skyline recreational uniforms on game day that can be ordered online.
9U-10U Recreational Program
The Recreational Program for 9U-10U players is designed to continue the long tradition of Skyline’s fun training environment, while focusing on development in a social atmosphere. The Rec program is for one season, fall and/or spring. Recreational teams practice 1-2 times a week with a volunteer coach. Recreational Players will have the option during the registration process to add on the four SKILLS session offered on Mondays during the season for $100.
Both Rec and Academy teams will play in either the Interleague with CO United / HRSA or the CSA Front Range League. Recreational teams play 8 games in an 7v7 format with a keeper. All games are played in a home & away setting against opposing non-Skyline and Skyline opponents (depending on teams in the division).

11U-18U Competitive Program
The Competitive program is designed for players who are interested in playing at a higher level of competition and under the guidance of professional coaches and trainers. Skyline’s Competitive program focuses on individual development as well as collective team development, so each player and team reaches their full potential. The 11U-18U competitive teams participate in Colorado Soccer Association’s Advanced Leagues. All 11U-18U teams will play in either 9v9 or11v11 format. Professional coaches and trainers follow an age appropriate curriculum that focuses on: technical, tactical, physical and psychological elements to meet guidelines as defined by Skyline’s player development plan. All players wear Skyline uniforms on game day that can be ordered online. Games are played in a home/away format and travel outside of Denver and surrounding areas may be required for games.
11U-18U Academy
The 11U-18U Academy program is designed to continue the long tradition of Skyline’s fun environment, while still focusing on development within a community atmosphere.
Each team will train one – two times a week with a volunteer coach.

Camps And Clinics
Skyline Soccer provides camps and clinics throughout the year, which can supplement the teaching that players receive from their coach. The proper camp or clinic will help the individual player develop the necessary technical skills and tactical vision to be successful at all levels of play. Whether it’s a summer camp, winter camp, indoor camp, or an in-season clinic, Skyline Soccer has a program to meet your needs no matter the age, gender, or skill level of your player.
Summer Camps and Clinics
Skyline Soccer provides age-appropriate soccer camps all summer long for all ages and all ability levels. We offer Recreational Day Camps, Advanced Soccer Camps, Summer SKILLS Clinics, and Summer Goalkeeper Camps as well as a Grasshopper and Munchkins program. We have created a healthy learning environment no matter age, skill, ability, and location. Summer camps are run by our club directors and staffed by professional coaches.
Winter Camps and Clinics
Winter programming provides players the opportunity to continue their development in the off-season. Opportunities are available for all ages and all ability levels. Winter programming is where players can really focus on technique and ball-skills in a FUN training environment. Skyline offers both indoor camps at both our office turf and our indoor facility as well as soccer leagues at the indoor facility. All winter camps and clinics will be run by our directors and staffed by professional coaches.
In-Season Clinics and Programs
In-season programming is designed for the players craving more training and development during the season. Each outdoor season (Spring & Fall), Skyline offers camps and clinics for a variety of age, gender, and skill levels. Opportunities include SKILLS Training for 6U through 10U and Goalkeeper Training. These programs are run by Skyline Directors and staffed by professional coaches and trainers.
TOPSoccer Program for Disabled Youth
TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community organized and volunteer ran program that offers modified soccer for youth players with physical and mental disabilities. Our program is open to youth ages 4 – 21. We run fall and spring seasons, and our players meet once a week on Thursday evenings for six consecutive weeks. Each season costs $25. The only additional equipment your player will need is shin guards; soccer cleats are optional but not required, and balls are provided for use at the field.
Tournaments
Skyline’s annual fall tournament, the Skyline Cup, hosts over 1,000 players and over 80+ recreational teams playing in the 9U and 10U age groups!
The Skyline Cup takes place on a weekend in the middle of August each year (weather permitting). Each team will be given at least three games in two days with appropriate rest time given between each game. The teams will be split into gender specific/age specific groups to play matches against teams of similar ability. The fundamental purpose of the Skyline Cup is to get recreational teams several games in a fun atmosphere to help them prepare them for the upcoming season.
